Is Donald Trump doing a good job as US President?

There has hardly been anyone before Trump, who has polarised a country to such an extent - that either you hate his guts and hate everything he says and does, or you worship him as the long awaited savior. So asking for evaluating him on a platform, skewed by overrepresentation of people who would hate everything about Trump, would simply yield known results.

Trump is an unusual President, who got elected to the office under unusual circumstances. While many may think 8 years of Obama were the return of golden age, if things weren’t so broken or were moving in right direction, even Mr. Stubbs (Alaska town has cat for mayor) could have run against Trump and would have won the elections.

After elections, the general theme of the Presidency has been that Trump would regurgitate some crap on Twitter, and entire media would lap onto it and lose its mind and anti-Trump people would follow suit. Most of the verbal diarrhea on Twitter are actually very calculated in order to prove points. Media is played like a fiddle without realizing. Although it is also true that there has been no precedence before, where a sitting head of a country talks a lot of mind numbing, factually incorrect things, and has complete disregard for any sort of etiquette. It is ironical that, not behaving in superficially polished manner is what made him so believable among his supporters and got him elected in first place. If you are looking for some facts to emerge from his Twitter account, you are at wrong place. What one must get used to is, evaluate his actions rather than what he speaks.

Since I am not affected by any of his actions, so not being the right person to judge it, I would simply add the statistics of the popularity of his executive actions, given by Politico which is a Leftist outlet -

So you are definitely not alone, because if we go by popularity votes during election, all his executive actions would have had higher disapproval ratings. Again with a pinch of salt, whether all his actions would continue to be popular, irrespective of how he is perceived as, only time would tell.
